My Casio was a surprise, and a deal. I was scanning the MarketPlace pages, just window shopping, when I came across the Casio ad. It was being sold for $20.00, and there was a note that it was “making a noise”. Well I thought making noises was its purpose, and for 20 bucks it would be worth checking out. I got it home and plugged it in and right away diagnosed the “noise” problem. The power supply was unfiltered and I was hearing the buzz of AC noise. A new power supply was ordered, and while waiting I took the unit apart and cleaned it up, inside and out. Today I have a sweet sounding Casio that has made its debut into some of my ambient music.
